Rustem Khamitov participated in videoconferencing on the unified state exam

On May 22, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev held a videoconference meeting on preparedness of the Russian education system to the Unified State Exam (USE). Rustem Khamitov the President of Bashkortostan participated in it.
In 2014, 750,000 people will take the Unified State Exam in the country. The organizational procedure of the exam was amended this year to minimize violations. For example, points of the exam taking and regional data processing centres will be equipped with surveillance equipment. About six thousand observers are accredited to monitor the exam. Mobile phones and other means of communication are forbidden to bring to auditoriums.
According to Dmitry Medvedev, today the USE system is transparent to test knowledge.
“But that does not mean that the USE system is ideal. First, it is because of the fact that even though we have already used to it, we have not practiced it for a long time yet. Second, in any case, any testing system should go through changes,” the Chairman of the Russian Government said.
Also the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Olga Golodets, the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitry Livanov, the head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science Sergey Kravtsov and heads of subjects of the country took part in the meeting.
