Rustem Khamitov awarded winners of the Presidential Quality Award 2013

An awarding ceremony of the Presidential Quality Award (goods and services) was held at the House of the Republic on Friday.

The President RB Rustem Khamitov handed over Cups with the Award Emblem and awards for the first place to executives of SUE "Oil Refining Institute of Bashkortostan", JSC "NefAZ" and the Kuvatov’s Republican Clinical Hospital. Diplomas for the second place were awarded to Sanatorium "Krasnousolsky", JSC "Blagovescensky Zhelezobeton" and JSC AK "OZNA". The third place went to SUE "Technical Inventory Bureau", Ishimbay Oil College, Bashkir Medical College and Ufa Polyclinic No. 49.

The President noted that currently the quality issues were paid special attention in the domestic industry due to the need of large scale import substitution because of the threat of sanctions.

The Presidential Quality Award is awarded in Bashkortostan for the 13th time.

According to the President of the Republic, the quality of products and services in Bashkortostan increases. This is promoted by more active work on implementation of international quality standards.

“Last year more than 530 companies implemented the international quality standards in the republic”, Khamitov said. “In the late 90s there were just few of them, but today such work is consistent. Our customers should be proud of the quality of Bashkortostan products.”
