Rustem Khamitov: "Today all levels of government need to maintain social stability"

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov spoke at the seminar - meeting with the chairmen of election commissions of the subjects of the Russian Federation, included in the Volga and Ural Federal Districts. The two-day forum started today, April 24, in Ufa under the chairmanship of the Russian Central Election Commission Head Vladimir Churov .

Bashkortostan President stressed the great share of responsibility of members of election commissions, which were the bodies of legal power.

Rustem Khamitov gave an estimate to the difficult situation that was developing in Ukraine, and shared the preliminary results of his trip to the Crimea.

“We signed an agreement with Belogorsky region, but most importantly - met with active people of the region. Perception of the Russian authorities by local people is at a high level”, the head of the region underlined.

Bashkortostan President said that Belogorsky region had lack of normal water, gas supply, good roads. There are a lot of issues related to the Crimean Tatars.
