Rustem Khamitov examined industry companies in Sterlitamak

During his working visit to Sterlitamaksky region Rustem Khamitov visited JSC "Bashkir Soda Company". The head of the republic inspected laboratories investigating issues related to improvement of technological processes, products quality and environmental protection.

Also here Khamitov acquainted with the production of polymers, which are used for manufacture of wood-plastic boards. Today the republic produces only raw materials and finished goods are manufactured abroad.

In addition, in the territory of the Bashkir Soda Company the President inspected construction of modern air separation plant. The design capacity of the new line allows receiving 20 thousand cubic metres of nitrogen gas, seven thousand cubic metres of industrial oxygen and four kilograms of liquid industrial oxygen per hour. Nitrogen thus obtained will be used by petrochemical companies of Sterlitamak.

Currently installation of equipment is completed by 99.5 percent. The launching of the unit is scheduled for July this year. The volume of investments amounted to one billion rubles.

Also during his visit, the head of the republic visited the department of distilled liquid filtration at JSC "Soda". At the new unit, a separation of distilled liquid into solid and liquid phases will occur during the filtration. The received products can be used as improvers in agriculture and in production of construction materials. Now production of soda becomes completely non-waste. Investment costs amounted to 600 million rubles. Commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
