Control and Audit Chamber of Bashkortostan revealed violations for 8.1 billion rubles

Deputies of the State Assembly RB, members of the Committee on Budget, Tax, Investment Policy and Territorial Development heard the report on work of the Accounts Chamber of Bashkortostan in 2013, made by the Chairman of the Audit Authority Salavat Kharasov.

The control department revealed infringements in use of republican budget funds, management of state property worth total of 8.1 billion rubles, including mismanagement and ineffective use of budgets - 2,2 billion rubles, illegal and unjustified expenditure of public resources - 4.1 billion rubles, the press service of the State Assembly RB informs.

Taking into account the results of audits of previous years, the auditors managed to eliminate violations and restore monetary and tangible assets in the amount of 2.2 billion rubles. They prevented budget losses amounting to 712.3 million rubles.

“According to the materials of the Accounts Chamber 15 criminal cases were initiated, 39 officials and entities were brought to administrative responsibility, 188 were subject to disciplinary responsibility”, Salavat Kharasov said.

A considerable attention was paid to the implementation of control activities in social sphere.
