Vladimir Putin congratulated the republican residents on the 95th anniversary of BASSR founding

The Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to the residents of Bashkortostan Republic, in which he congratulated them on the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (BASSR). It is said in the message:

"Over the past years, the republic has made a significant contribution to strengthening of the Russian statehood, to the growth of economic potential of our country, to establishing national science, education, preservation of priceless cultural heritage of the multinational peoples of our homeland. You can be justly proud of rich history, labour and military achievements of your countrymen, traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, careful attitude towards your native land.

It is gratifying that the region today fruitfully implements demanded projects in industry, agriculture, architecture and housing, successfully develops important social programs. I'm sure all this will promote further development of Bashkortostan improving the level and quality of life of people.

I sincerely wish you success and all the best. Let good luck always accompany your plans and initiatives."
