Bashkortostan will receive federal subsidies for targeted ethnic development programs

Bashkortostan is among 39 subjects of the Russian Federation, which are recognized as winners of the selection of regional target programs aimed at strengthening civil unity and harmonization of interethnic relations. In 2014, 55 regional programs were submitted for consideration of the committee, which were evaluated on 12 criteria defined by the order of the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia.

The winners will be awarded grants from the federal government under the Federal Program "Strengthening the unity of the Russian nation and ethno-cultural development of peoples of Russia (2014-2020)."

The Department of state policy in the sphere of international relations will prepare and submit to the Government a draft act on the approval of subsidies distribution from the federal budget between subjects within the program for the year of 2014.
