In Bashkiria 2 mln 640 thousand square metres of housing will be put into operation in 2014

A meeting of the Presidium of the Government RB dedicated to the preliminary results of housing construction in 2013 and tasks for 2014 was held in Ufa.
In Bashkortostan, there are almost 90 thousand people in the waiting list for housing. To improve housing affordability nearly all municipalities fixed the price per square metre of social housing.
"We help people, we implement social programs to subsidize the cost of construction or purchase of housing", said Rustem Khamitov. “Yet the need for housing, especially affordable is huge.”
In Bashkiria the construction of social housing was started in 2011. Last year 74 thousand square metres were built, it is planned to put into operation about 100,000. Taking into account the program "Social development of villages", resettlement of people from emergency housing, this figure should rise to 210 thousand square metres. The unified republican register contains now information about more than 11 thousand hectares of prospective land plots with the potential construction of housing up to 8 million square metres.
Annually the Republican address investment program allocates funds for the construction of utilities in the areas of individual and large-scale housing construction. This year it is about 2.3 billion rubles. It is planned to allocate 617 million rubles for the next year.
Rustem Khamitov also noted the importance of cooperation with federal agencies, first of all with the Fund for Housing Development.
The Chairman of the State Committee RB for Construction and Architecture Kamil Mansurov reported the planned volumes of housing construction as a whole over Bashkortostan. In 2013, it is expected to commission 2.47 million square metres of housing, in 2014 - 2.64 million square metres. The highest rates of construction are observed in the cities of Octyabrsky and Neftekamsk: 155.8 and 148.2 percent to the corresponding period of 2012, respectively. The lowest rates are in Agidel - 71.3 percent. In Russia Bashkortostan takes the sixth place regarding square metres of floor area (1855.2 thousand square metres) after Tatarstan (1948.2 thousand) , St. Petersburg (2156.3 thousand), Moscow (2183.7 thousand), Krasnodar Territory (3013.4 thousand) and Moscow region (4365.9 thousand).
