Election commissions of 11 regions of Russia signed a cooperation agreement in Ufa

Election commissions of 11 subjects of the Russian Federation signed an agreement on interregional cooperation. The agreement became a final stage of the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference "20 Years of Experience in the Electoral System Development in Modern Russia: Achievements, Problems and Prospects" held in Ufa.

The parties agreed to cooperate between the election commissions to exchange experiences to ensure the electoral rights of Russian citizens.

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission, Leonid Ivlev said that it was an important political event.

Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference was opened in Ufa yesterday. The plenary part of the forum was attended by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov. Representatives of election commissions of 11 subjects shared their experiences and offers. The forum was attended also by the Deputy Chairman of CEC RF Leonid Ivlev, the member of CEC RF Nina Kulyasova.
