Procedure is defined for forming lists of people entitled to low-cost housing purchase in Bashkiria

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed the law "On the rules of forming the lists of citizens eligible for the purchase of low-income housing built or under construction on the land plots of the Federal Fund for Housing Development transferred to gratuitous use or lease for the construction of low-income housing including for their integrated development in order to construct such housing, and on the procedure of these lists forming." The document was published and will come into force in ten days that is on December 13.

In the first reading a draft law was adopted by the deputies of the State Assembly RB on June 27 this year. At the last meeting of the republican parliament, on November 28, lawmakers approved it in the final reading.

A head of the settlement, head of the city district, where a land plot is located for the construction of low-income housing, approves the lists of citizens who agreed to purchase such housing. It also determines the official media, where lists of citizens who will purchase economy-class housing should be published.

The new law states rigorous and transparent procedure for filing, recording and reviewing applications for the purchase of low-cost housing, defines the rights and obligations of the parties to such transactions.
