New head of the National Bank RB was introduced to the President of Bashkortostan

On November 15, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the Head of the Human Resources Department of the Bank of Russia Sergey Chernenkov and the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic Marat Kashapov, who was appointed to the post by the Chairman of the Central Bank by the order from November 13.

“As for Marat Kashapov, we hope that even greater achievements and greater success are ahead of him and we are definitely going to help him in the this” Rustem Khamitov said.

He also drew attention to the "good indexes in the banking sector in general and in Bashkortostan Republic".

“The credit portfolio is growing and debts are growing, too. This is understandable and connected one with another. The number of banks operating in the republic exceeded 90. However, there are still entities willing to work with us, to open new branches. Number of credit cards is now gaining momentum; we are already the fifth in Russia in number of credit cards. This is also a good result. We are developing a universal electronic card, which also can be an element in the system of electronic cards, including banking ones,” the President of Bashkortostan marked.
