Deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan defined directions of further work

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the chairmen of the Committees of the republican parliament defined directions of further joint work at the meeting, which took place at the Presidential Office RB.

The Chairman of the Committee of the State Assembly on Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources Rasul Gusmanov told about the topics which would be the priority for the members of the Committee.

“Questions which are in the competence of our Committee were also discussed,” the deputy said. “Serious work to support agriculture is expected to be held. Particular attention will be paid to individual farms. A need to increase financial support of municipalities was also discussed. In addition, we will work towards the development of consumer and industrial cooperative business. We will face with problems of water supply in rural areas. Serious attention should be paid to the quality of rural roads. In terms of ecology, issues of solid waste management are highly relevant to us. In this direction several round tables, parliamentary hearings are planned. In the sphere of nature management the issue related to the large number of mature forests in the region was in the focus of attention. The President asked to consider options for deep processing of timber in this connection.”
