Bashkortostan delegation participates in the international "Open Innovations" Forum in Moscow

The official delegation of the Republic headed by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov takes part in the Moscow International Forum of Innovative Development "Open Innovations", which was opened at the International Exhibition Centre "Crocus Expo" on Thursday, the press service of the President of the Republic informs.

The "Open Innovations" Forum is a global discussion platform dedicated to the latest technology and prospects for international cooperation in the field of innovation. A key theme of the forum in 2013 is "Game Rules in the Global Markets: Breakthrough Technologies and their Creators".

The program of the first day includes plenary sessions: "I change the rules of the game", "National leadership strategy in the hyperlinked world", roundtable debates and a number of panel discussions on education and competitiveness.

The first "Open Innovations" Forum was held in Moscow in the autumn of 2012. It was attended by over 5,000 people from 38 countries.

An important event of the Forum is Open Innovations Expo 2013 exhibition - a platform for demonstration of advanced Russian and foreign products and technologies, exchange of experience in successfully implemented innovative projects.
