Rustem Khamitov has laid flowers to the Monument of Friendship in honour of the Day of Republic

On the eve of the Day of Republic, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB Konstantin Tolkachev laid flowers to the Monument of Friendship in Ufa on October 10.

Heads of public authorities of Bashkortostan, the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov, the Chairman of Ufa City Council Evgeniy Semivelichenko and other officials were present at the solemn ceremony.

The Monument of Friendship is erected in honour of the 400th anniversary of Bashkiria’s voluntary joining the structure of Russia. It is already become a good tradition to begin celebrations of the Day of Republic with laying flowers to this monument erected on a hill over the river White in Ufa.
