Rustem Khamitov has spent a meeting with French Decathlon Company management

On October 1, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the management of the Decathlon sporting goods company in Paris.
In one of large company stores Rustem Khamitov has familiarised with assortment of sports goods – equipment and facilities for more than 70 kinds of sports.
After visiting the store the Decathlon General Director for Development Phillip Juzan has held a presentation of the company and, in particular, a construction project of a similar shop in Ufa. At present the chain totals 679 shops in different countries of the world, 14 from them work in Russia. In Ufa it is planned to open two shops for four thousand square metres each, with prospect of increase up to six thousand square metres.
During the presentation Rustem Khamitov has offered the French Company’s management, to consider also an opening a manufacture of sports goods in the republic.
The agreement is reached that the republican Government will spend a presentation at the Moscow office of Decathlon Company on showing advantages of such investment project in Bashkortostan.
The same day in Paris Rustem Khamitov spent a meeting with the management of the French Treves Group company. Treves Group is an independent industrial group on manufacture of automobile components uniting 36 enterprises. Since 2010 "Treves-Iskozh" joint venture created in partnership with Neftekamsk JSC "Iskozh" has been working in Russia manufacturing upholstery for cars passenger compartments.
During the meeting with the «Treves Group» proprietor Bernard Treves prospects of further localisation of the company’s manufactures and divisions in Bashkortostan Republic were discussed, and also possible investments of the French party into JSC "Iskozh" and measures of the investor state support by the republican Government.
