Rustem Khamitov: “United Russia’s victory at elections is absolutely logical”

The President RB Rustem Khamitov delivered a speech at the conference of Bashkortostan regional branch of All-Russia political party "United Russia" on Friday.

“The regional branch of United Russia has passed successfully the next political examination,” Rustem Khamitov said, summing up the elections to the State Assembly RB. “The party has received support of 76 percent of voters that makes one million 215 thousand votes.”

The party has received 88 mandates on proportional system and majority districts in the State Assembly — Kurultay of Bashkortostan. It is equal to 80 percent from the total number of deputy seats.

Rustem Khamitov has congratulated members of the party on this achievement.

The President of Bashkortostan has analysed results of elections in other regions of the country. "United Russia" has gained a convincing victory at elections of deputies to regional parliaments in all 16 subjects of the Russian Federation. Bashkortostan was included into top three regions where the party received the maximum number of votes.

“The victory of our party at elections to the State Assembly — Kurultay of the fifth convocation – is absolutely logical,” Rustem Khamitov expressed his confidence. “This victory has actually taken place because the party endeavored its best efforts for crisis overcoming and economic recovery and raising of living standards.”

The President underlined that results of the last years once again testified to importance of legislative activity as an instrument of the state management.

According to Rustem Khamitov, successful solution of political, social and economic development tasks in many respects is defined by effective legal framework availability meeting modern requirements.
