Government of the Russian Federation will consider offers on support of regions in providing children-orphans with habitation

Issues of provision of children-orphans and children without parental care with habitation, became the main topics at an audience with the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov. He examined problems of citizens during a video conference.

A reference of Bashkortostan inhabitant was considered among other items. The 20-year-old citizen addressed to the reception centre of the President of Russia with a request for assistance in habitation granting which he was entitled to under the law as an orphan. As a result the decision was made that the applicant would receive a one-room apartment in a cottage settlement of Ufa in October, 2013.

According to amendments to the federal law No.15-FZ «On making amendments to separate legislative acts of the Russian Federation regarding provision of children-orphans and children without parental care with residential properties», additional guarantees of rights of children-orphans and children without parental care on premises are established. In connection with these amendments additional cost loading is imposed on the regions as the main obligations are assigned to budgets of subjects of the Russian Federation. Sergei Ivanov has heard reports of the Volga Plenipotentiary Michael Babich and the President of Bashkortostan Republic Rustem Khamitov on this problem. Sergei Ivanov gave an instruction to prepare offers for the Government of Russia on rendering assistance to regions in financing of the given program.
