Rustem Khamitov has examined production sites of a furniture factory in Sterlitamak

The president of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip in Sterlitamak has examined production sites of "Antares" furniture factory.

The enterprise was founded in 1992 as factory on individual furniture manufacture. "Antares" is located on the area of 12 thousand square metres. There are trade promotion offices in Sterlitamak, Salavat and Meleuz. Total number of employees is nearly 200 people.

Cabinet and upholstered furniture is made at "Antares" factory, small-scale manufacture for Bashkortostan Republic and Russian cities is also organised. Products are sold in Ufa, Belebey, Beloretsk, Salavat, Meleuz and neighboring areas, and also in Russian cities — Tyumen Nizhnevartovsk, Kogalym, Orenburg, St.-Petersburg and Naberezhnye Chelny.

Now a contract with SСМ Italian Company on delivery of transfer-type machine of a new generation for assemblage of cabinet furniture is concluded allowing to increase the manufacture volume.

Rustem Khamitov has examined production sites and a showroom, has taken an interest in the enterprise problems.

“The main difficulty is low use of production capacities,” the director of the factory Feodor Borgardt noted. “Capacities are used only for forty percent. Also it would be desirable to present our production in Ufa — as Sterlitamak furniture gets to Ufa buyers only through wholesale companies.”

“Local manufacturers of quality production should be rendered assistance,” Rustem Khamitov marked addressing to representatives of Sterlitamak administration. “The issue with granting of exposition areas should be discussed with Ufa mayor Irek Yalalov in order to find acceptable options.”

Also Rustem Khamitov has visited the "Medved" woodworking enterprise. Here since 2006 deep processing of wood is carried out. Plinths, platbands, battens, terraced boards, floor boards, furniture boards from pine, cedar and Caucasian oak are made here. 300-400 cubic metres of finished goods are produced per month. Capacities are used for 70-90 percent depending on a season, manufacture volume is 75 million rbl. a year.

At LLC «Sterlitamak Profile M» the President of the republic has examined manufacture of easy assembled profiles for pre-fabricated buildings. The enterprise is engaged in manufacture of profiles for internal furnish of premises, facades and roofs.
