Flooding area in Abzelilovsky and Beloretsky regions will be declared as emergency - the President of Bashkortostan

Inhabitants of villages in Bashkir Trans-Urals suffered from the flooding will be compensated their losses, the President RB Rustem Khamitov said, commenting on the situation in Abzelilovsky and Beloretsky region.
“This territory will be declared an emergency zone that not only republican funds, but also a part of federal resources to be directed for consequences liquidation. “It will take about two weeks for us to fix everything up. It is necessary to restore four bridges and to repair three more. Besides, 200-300 metres of roads require repair works.”
As Rustem Khamitov explained, four-five days of continuous rains led to an emergency situation on the border of Beloretsky and Abzelilovsky regions. Rivers were overflowed, 10 villages were flooded. As a result about thousand people were evacuated.
“Fortunately, there are no casualties or large damage. Gardens, plantings, small cattle were damaged. A commission on emergency situations has been working there for the third day already. This work is supervised by the Vice-Premier of Government RB Marat Magadeev. All necessary equipment and construction material are available,” the President of Bashkortostan said.
Now, according to Rustem Khamitov, the situation improves. The water stream which has formed in a mountain part of the republic is moving to its plain part, but big problems should not arise.
