In Bashkiria 1625 candidates apply for 110 deputy mandates to the State Assembly of the fifth convocation

1625 candidates will compete for deputy mandates to the State Assembly - Kurultay RB of the fifth convocation, 1234 from them are nominated under party lists on uniform republican district, 391 — on single-member constituencies.

As the Central Election Commission RB informs, lists of candidates of 12 political parties on the uniform district are registered, including regional branches of "United Russia", the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, LDPR, "A Just Russia", "Patriots of Russia", "the Russian party of People’s Management", "the Alliance of Greens — the People Party", "Party of Social Solidarity", "Civil Platform", "Russian ecological party "The Greens", "Born in the USSR", "The Russian Party of Pensioners for Justice".

District electoral committees have registered 391 candidates on single-member constituencies (55 of them in the republic). Among them there are 17 self-nominated candidates, others — are parties’ members. Competition of candidates in single-member constituencies is from 11 to 5 people per place (only in three districts it is lower — four people).
