Bashkortostan CEC has held a meeting with mass-media concerning a drawing procedure

A working meeting concerning carrying out of sortition with participation of republican mass-media took place in the Central Election Commission of Bashkortostan. Chairmen of the territorial election commissions of Ufa, representatives of republican newspapers published in six languages – Russian, Bashkir, Tatar, Mari, Chuvash and Udmurt took part in it.

The vice chairman of the Central Election Commission of Bashkortostan Republic Nailya Altynova told participants of the meeting about conditions of free printing area granting to candidates and parties and acquainted them with a drawing procedure to be held.

The head of department of public relations and information of the Administration of the Central Election Commission RB Rishat Lukmanov defined the basic moments of sortition carrying out and publication of its results, urged journalists to create equal conditions for all candidates and parties, and to be to the utmost responsible.

The head of Agency on Press and Mass Media RB Boris Melkoedov called colleagues to concern more attentively legislation requirements in the sphere of information support of elections, to be correct in work with candidates and parties.
