Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the speaker of the State Council of Tatarstan

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a working meeting with the Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Muhametshin. During the conversation a wide range of questions, including state of affairs in agriculture, possibilities to apply minimum cultivation technology in the conditions of drought was discussed.

The main objective of the visit of the Tatarstan parliament speaker is connected with the forthcoming Universiade in Kazan.

“The fire of Universiade reached Ufa, there will be a solemn transfer of a torch today. Then fire will be carried over cities and regions of Tatarstan,” Farid Muhametshin said following the results of the meeting.

According to the head of the legislative body of the neighbouring republic, the inter-parliamentary cooperation between two regions develops successfully. The agreement is signed in the context of which regular meetings at the level of committees of legislative bodies take place; joint legislative initiatives and support at acceptance of federal laws are put forward.
