The President of Bashkortostan: «We have positive trends in economy and social development»
During his working trip to Tuimazinsky region the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the representatives of Bakalinsky, Buzdyaksky, Tuimazinsky, Chekmagushevsky and Sharansky regions. The head of the republic said about social and economic situation in the region.
The President of Bashkortostan marked that today many municipalities waited for the financial assistance from the republican budget, instead of counting on their own possibilities.
Addressing to the future candidates, Rustem Khamitov said that economy development in many respects depended on the existing legislation.
“Law makers – are one of the key people in the state. They have in their hands strong and powerful instrument – standard documents, legislation, lawmaking. And it is very important that active, understanding, professionally prepared people will be elected to the parliament which will be able to create such legal base.”
According to the head of the region, future deputies should be more active in applying innovations in their work.
Also the President RB underlined that the support rendered to agriculture would be continued. This question became most topical with the Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
This year it will be allocated over one and half billion rbl. for the sowing campaign. “These resources will be enough to spend a sowing campaign and to continue activity after sowing – top dressing, processing and other,” Rustem Khamitov said.
Besides, the President added that the agricultural program «500 farms» was implementing with good progress.
Speaking about social sphere, Rustem Khamitov said about construction of a new perinatal centre in Ufa.
“This will be an up-to-date medical institution, totaling to three billion three hundred fifty million rbl. And this centre will accept inhabitants from all over the republic,” the President explained.
