Rustem Khamitov is ready to bring in a bill supporting environmental entrepreneurship to the State Assembly RB

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov offered to develop and submit for consideration to the State Assembly-Kurultay RB a bill focused on supporting environmental businessmen.

In his turn, Ildar Hadyev, the Minister of Nature Management and Ecology RB underlined today that «we are interested in involving business community in decision of ecological problems».

“We consider expedient to come forward with a legislative initiative to the State Duma with a bill «On entrepreneurial activity carried out in order to preserve environment», Ildar Hadyev said.

According to the Minister, absence of interest among businessmen to the activity organisation in the sphere of the environment preservation is explained first of all by imperfection of the legislative base regulating legal relationship in the field of environmental entrepreneurship. Among other reasons the head of the department named insufficiency of tax and other privileges provided by federal laws in the nature protection sphere, and also low level of public authorities’ interaction with business community.
