Meeting of Rustem Khamitov and Sergey Donskoy, the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology RF took place in Moscow

On March 25, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology RF Sergey Donskoy in Moscow. As the press-service of the head of the region informs, at the meeting issues of the bank protection of the river White in Ufa from the Monument of Friendship to the railway bridge, biospheric nature reserve development «Bashkir Urals», and also development of Bashkortostan division of the Federal Hydrometereology and Environmental Monitoring Service were discussed there.

Rustem Khamitov said that the project of the quay protection of the river White was developed, materials on the object were submitted for coordination to the Federal Agency for Water Resources. It is necessary to solve a question of co-financing of engineering structures erection from the federal budget in 2013-2014.

The present banks protection was erected more 50 years ago. Now it is in unsatisfactory condition due to the fact that more than 50 percent of existing concrete constructions demand replacing. The second step plans arrangement of a quay, roadway, sidewalks and viewing platforms.
