President of Bashkortostan has discussed further Beloretsk development with the city representatives

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, during his working trip to Beloretsk and Beloretsky region met with the city representatives. They discussed development of new manufactures, tourism and social sphere in Beloretsk.

According to Rustem Khamitov, «the next two-three years large enough enterprises», including the enterprises on woodworking will be constructed in the region.

“Bashlesprom” and “Kronoshpan” – two anchor enterprises will process in common about four million cubic metres of wood, basically, overmature wood. Other large investment project is the "Belstal" enterprise. Here in Beloretsk it is planned to construct quite big enterprise,” the President of Bashkortostan underlined at the meeting.

Not less important direction is tourism development in Beloretsky region. The Mratkino Mountain-Skiing Centre revived now in Beloretsk is one of points of growth of this city.

“In 2013 we plan to construct two ski-lifts – on southern and northern slopes. Two-three new pistes will be made at the same time. Negotiations with the investor who would undertake construction of a hotel, restaurant complexes, cafe are already carried out,” the President RB said.

“Outflow of tourists from Abzakovo, Yakty-Kuhl and Bannoe to Beloretsk has already begun. Thus it is quite possible, that in one-two years the Mratkino Mountain-Skiing Centre will make them a worthy competition under condition of creation here the developed infrastructure. After all it is important that people coming here could have recreation possibilities here,” Rustem Khamitov marked at the meeting with the city representatives.
