Polish Sunday school of Ufa was visited by Poland official delegation

Employees of the Centre of the Polish Culture and Education RB, pupils of the A.P.Penkevich’s National Polish Sunday School met with the members of delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Poland Mrs. Zofya Shalchik and the adviser of the Embassy of Poland in the Russian Federation sir Anjey Karpyuk estimated creative performance of pupils of the Ufa school which included poems and songs in the Polish language, and a fragment of a folklore ceremony "Mazhanna". Visitors examined the exhibition «The Poles in Bashkortostan: the history and present». At the round-table conference issues and prospects of work of the Polish centre and school were discussed.

Visitors handed over a book to the school library about the nature of Poland as a keepsake of the meeting, and also gave a souvenir pen to the pupil who was the best in studying the Polish language and culture.
