Delegation of the Embassy of Israel has estimated cultural and interfaith achievements of Bashkortostan

A delegation of the Embassy of Israel in the Russian Federation pays a three-day reconnaissance visit to Bashkortostan. The delegation includes the Minister plenipotentiary of the Embassy, the deputy head of the Israel diplomatic mission in the Russian Federation Olga Slov and the attache for cultural relations Jaffa Olivitski .

Mrs. Slov informed that the visit goal is adjustment of cooperation in the field of culture and economy. Representatives of the Embassy met with the deputy Minister of Culture RB Valentina Latypova. Jaffa Olivitski underlined that the cultural life seemed to be very intense in Bashkortostan. The delegation had a possibility to visit the «Night of the Bashkir Cinema» festival. The visitors from Israel had bright impressions after watching the film "Karusel" produced by the "Bashkortostan" film studio.

There was a meeting of members of the diplomatic mission with the vice-premier of Government RB Rauf Nugumanov where issues of economic cooperation were discussed. The parties defined agriculture, public health services, housing and public utilities sector as perspective directions of cooperation. As Olga Slov marked the republic was interested in exchange of experience concerning agricultural products cultivation in droughty conditions. Besides, issues of experience exchange in the sphere of biotechnologies, tourism development, and education were discussed also.

Representatives of the Embassy of Israel estimated the republican achievements in strengthening interfaith relations, shared their impressions from the meeting with representatives of the Jewish national community.
