Irek Yalalov is the third in the January media rating of PFO cities mayors

The head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov took the third place in the media rating of the first persons of capitals of Volga Federal District (PFO) for January, 2013. His value of the media index is 34. These data were announced by Medialogy Company today.

In January, 2013, leaders of the media rating are heads of capitals administrations of PFO subjects Oleg Kondrashov (Nizhni Novgorod), with the first place (media index 187,53), and Peter Tultaev (Saransk) — the third place (87).

As Medialogy marks, Irek Yalalov holds this post only for a year — he was elected the mayor of Ufa in January, 2012, but already for this short time he managed to take high rating positions among the colleagues. As a whole following the results of 2012 he took the second place in this rating.

The present January prize-winning place in the media rating is explained by the fact that the mayor of Ufa personally checked up manufacturing and placing of plates with names of city streets, and also accuracy of their translation. Mass-media also informed that Irek Yalalov declared that for reduction of queues to kindergartens it is necessary to stimulate development of private preschool institutions. Besides, in 2015 the International SCO and BRICS Summits will be held in Ufa. Irek Yalalov in this connection holds regular meetings with journalists, gives press conferences, at one of which he declared that construction of modern hotels would be the important stage for the forum preparation.

The rating is constructed on the basis of mass-media data base of Medialogy, including 11 000 most influential sources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, the Internet resources. The research period is January, 2013.
