President of Bashkortostan approved the program “Traffic Safety in 2013-2015”

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov approved the Republican goal-oriented program “Traffic Safety in 2013-2015”, directed to 9%-reduction of death rate on roads by 2015 as compared with 2010. In order to reach this index several problems were posed, such as prevention of traffic accidents, reduction of traumatism, development of modern first medical aid system etc.

Public affairs service of the President RB reports the total volume of means, allocated for the program, amounts to 1,1 billion rubles, including 752,5 million rubles at the expense of the Republican budget.

Control of execution of the corresponding instructions of the Government RB is imposed on Vice-Premier Marat Magadeev.

For the reference: More than seven thousand people die and get traumas as a result of traffic accidents in the Republic every year. 4989 people died on Bashkir roads for the last seven years, including 167 children at the age under 16. 3835 kids were traumatized.
