An agreement of cooperation was signed between Government RB and the federal Agency for CIS affairs, compatriots, living abroad, and international humanitarian cooperation in Moscow on January 31. The document is signed by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the head of the Federal Agency Constantine Kosachev.
Public affairs service of the President RB reports the agreement is signed “with the purpose of consolidation of positive image of Russia and Republic of Bashkortostan abroad, making favorable conditions for development of Russia’s relations with foreign states and assistance to establishment, maintaining and development of international, humanitarian, scientific-technical, cultural, informational and business relations, including the regional level”.
According to this document “ROSSOTRUDNICHESTVO” will spread informational and presentational materials about Bashkortostan in its foreign offices and assist to holding various exhibitions, presentations, festivals and other cultural actions RB abroad.
The Government of Bashkortostan will take part in informational actions on actual themes of Russian and international life, cultural-educational, scientific, humanitarian and social actions jointly with the federal agency.
The Government RB will implement its joint projects with the federal agency through foreign offices of the agency and Russian centers of science and culture, working abroad at present moment.
“This is a remarkable event for our Republic, since we strengthen our presence in the markets of foreign countries, invite investors and establish cultural relations with foreign states. The assistance of the federal agency is of paramount importance for us and we understand that we aren’t able to make our way through alone and only working together we can worthily present our country and the Republic abroad” – Rustem Khamitov stated.
