Rustem Khamitov has met with the head of Kuibyshev railroad Sergey Solozenkin

On January 16 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has negotiated with the chief of Kuibyshev railroad – a division of JSC “Russian Railways” – Sergey Solozenkin and his deputies Sergey Blokhin and Dmitry Novikov. Public affairs service of the President RB reports such problems as completion of Ufa railway station reconstruction, construction of the second railway road on the sector of Ufa South Roundabout Way and prospects of the project “Urban electric train” in Ufa were under discussion.

Talking about uncompleted construction projects the President RB called Ufa railway station first of all.

“It doesn’t befit the city with population at one million people to have uncompleted construction in its very center for already five years. We have to finish all works here” - the President RB said and mentioned that local authorities would contribute to maximal load on the railway and its sectors, located on the territory RB. Volumes of industrial production have to grow and new enterprises will be erected along the railroad.

“We need your help in placement of railroad infrastructure. Big and very big enterprises will be erected near Ufa already this year and it means additional freight traffic. Let’s work according to our earlier determined plans” – Rustem Khamitov said.

Sergey Solozenkin shortly reported about works, conducted in accordance with the agreement, signed between the Republic and the company.

“Bashkortostan always stands on the first place by stability of freight traffic and dynamics in this sphere remains positive. We have good joint projects, such as, for instance, the pilot project with “BASHNEFT” on automated control systems. We are ready to consider any projects, able to help us to systematize our work today” – Sergey Solozenkin said.

As for the Ufa railway station construction, Sergey Solozenkin has reported that the corresponding expenses are already laid in the budget. At present time this project passes state expertise and in 2014-2015 all construction works have to be completed.
