Rustem Khamitov has held a briefing session in Government of Bashkortostan

On January 14 the President RB Rustem Khamitov has held the first briefing session of the Government RB in 2013. The President RB has summed up the totals -2012 and posed problems for the current year, public affairs service of the President RB reported.

Rustem Khamitov stopped on demographic indices, expressively talking about successful development of social sphere in the Republic.

“More than 58,5 thousand babies were born in Bashkortostan in 2012 – this the best result since 1991” – Rustem Khamitov reported.

The President of Bashkortostan was also talking about growth of industrial production and about considerable increase of the gross internal product, as compared with 2011.

“On December 1, 2012, the volume of industrial production amounted to 105,5%, as compared with 2011. We expect that this figure for the whole year will be within the limits of 105-106% – rather good result. According to preliminary estimations our gross regional product will be more than 1 trillion rubles” – Rustem Khamitov said.

Growth of investment attractiveness RB was also called one of the main successes in 2012.

“We aren’t yet present in the list of the regions – pacemakers in investment activity but we are already staying in Top 10. It is not bad since two years ago we stayed just on the 30-40th positions” – the President of Bashkortostan reported further.

According to Rustem Khamitov 2013 should become the year of the beginning of big constructions in the Republic. The matter is the construction of several industrial enterprises, the objects, meant for SCO and BRICS summits (to be held in Ufa in 2015) and the Paralympic center.
