The President of Bashkortostan has signed the Law connected with changes in the republican Public Chamber work

The day before the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has signed the Law RB «On amendments to the Bashkortostan Republic Law «On Public Chamber of Bashkortostan Republic». The draft law was considered at the last session of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB and accepted in final reading last week, on December 20. The Law is connected with changes in the federal legislation and directed on promotion of the Chamber status.

Standards are set forth in the document, according to which citizens, public associations and representatives of mass media will be involved in discussion of topical issues, concerning observance of rights and legitimate interests of citizens and public associations. The Public Chamber RB should adjust interaction with the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and Public Chambers of subjects and municipal unions.

Besides, the Chamber will be obliged to render information and methodical support to the public associations, which activity is focused on development of civil society in the region.

Members of the Public Chamber will take part in the State Assembly - Kurultay RB sessions, and also in the sessions of the Government RB, boards of enforcement authorities and directly participate in consideration of the set questions.

The conclusions of the Public Chamber will serve as guidelines, and will be directed to the President of Bashkortostan, to republican State Assembly, the Government of Bashkortostan, republican enforcement authorities and local governments.

It is planned to create an official website for information support of the Public Chamber activity. The Law will come into force since January 1, 2013.
