Union of Women RB has held the action “No to Violence in Respect of Women and Kids!”

Within the frames of the international action “16 Days Against Violence in Respect of Women” the Union of Women RB has held the action “No to Violence in Respect of Women and Kids!” jointly with Russian State Social University’s Ufa division in the cinema-theater “RODINA”. Students of the University came out with the posters, urging to stop violence in respect of women and kids.

“The Union of Women RB takes part in the international campaign “16 Days Against Violence in Respect of Women” every year” – the secretary of the Union of Women RB Anisa Anikeeva reported – “We regularly hold round-table discussions with participation of authority, law-enforcement bodies, clergy and public communities and we are happy that in 2012 such action was held by students, who managed to find very interesting and creative form for attraction of public attention to the problem of violence in respect of women”.
