Rustem Khamitov called youth convent the site, where “new ideas are generated”

The forum “Youth convent for business undertakings and innovations”, initiated by Ministry for youth policy and sport RB, the Institute for development of business undertakings and social innovations “Synergy”, association of young businessmen “Power of Generation” with participation of Ministry for industry and innovational policy RB, is held in Ufa Congress-Hall.

The program of two-day forum includes exhibition of youth projects and start-ups and presentation of federal youth projects. The executive director of the Association of Russian Innovational Regions Ivan Bortnik, the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Dmitry Sharonov, the deputy head of the workgroup for development of low-height house building of “United Russia” Valerie Kozeikin, deputy chairman of State Duma committee for economic policy, innovational development and business undertakings Viktor Klimov were present at the opening ceremony.

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov also visited the forum. He mentioned that young businessmen, taking part in the convent today, represented the base for formation of “smart society”.

“Convent is from one side a site for discussions and education and from another site is a site, which generates new ideas and approaches’ – the President RB stated.

Rustem Khamitov has also mentioned that along with oil industry and machine building the Republic has to develop radio-electronic industry too and Ivan Bortnik supports this idea.

“The republic has great potential but you still have much to work with. I believe Bashkortostan has to restore its positions in radioelectronics and biotechnology” – Ivan Bortnik said.

The convent for business undertakings and innovations will be over on December 7.
