Rustem Khamitov believes it is necessary to form “smart society” in the Republic

“I believe it is necessary to add the model of so-called “smart society” or “clever society” to our armory, thereby providing step-by-step implementation of its main principles in our life” – the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov posed the key problem for the forthcoming year in his annual Message to State Council-Kurultay-RB.

The head of the Republic also added that this term still failed to receive wide spreading in public rhetoric.

“But if we intend to become one of the leaders, we mustn’t be afraid to become the pioneers. Obsolete approaches are already inefficient and if we fail to introduce serious novelties, we can drop behind in this sphere” – Rustem Khamitov supposes.

The model of clever society represents an instrument for changing the quality of life and algorithm for making comfortable habitat with the help of modern informational and organizational systems.

“I think that formation of such environment and comfortable conditions for residents should become one of our key goals and all measures on development of economics and social infrastructure, undertaken by us, have to work for solution of this problem”.

The President RB stated that life in the Republic should become safe, comfortable and prestigious. People must live in easy circumstances, they should have assurance in tomorrow and should be proud of their native land.

“These goals aren’t new but have to be achieved with the help of modern methods, through clever and delicate reconfiguration of the most important parameters of public life” – the President RB explained.

Rustem Khamitov has also underscored that all of us need step-by-step qualitative changes in key spheres of life.

“These transformations can’t be of directive character. They have to be understood and approved by everyone. Preservation of natural resources, high-tech and science-intensive economics, worthy level of social-cultural environment development and the system of communication between people are the base of a new smart society” – Rustem Khamitov stated.
