The meeting between President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and State Duma speaker has taken place in Ufa

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the speaker of State Duma Sergey Naryshkin have discussed problems of social development of the region in the course of two-sided meeting in Ufa today. The head of the lower chamber of Russian parliament has arrived in Bashkortostan yesterday.

“You stand at the head of Bashkortostan for already two years and much has been done for this period of time in the Republic” – Sergey Naryshkin said at the beginning of the talk – “Much attention is paid to development of agriculture and public society. The work on the budget-2013 is close to the end”.

“Our main aim is to improve well-being of republican population” – Rustem Khamitov answered – “We are working at improvement of the quality of life of our people and direct all our resources to that”.

The President RB has told about measures, undertaken by regional leadership for stable work of local industry. Rustem Khamitov has also mentioned that high attention is paid to development of agriculture since more than 40% of population live in the countryside. “Even during the draughts we try to keep the quality of life of our agrarians at the appropriate level”.

Further the President RB has told in details about the measures, undertaken by the region for the rise of wages in budget sphere. This task is very complicated – in some branches wages have to be raised two times.

In the course of the meeting the average wage level and situation with local labor market were discussed. According to M-r Khamitov wages in the region lately increased by 15% and not just in processing productions but in other spheres too, including the budget one.

“The problems, considered the top priority in the region are wages, employment and housing” – the President RB has underscored.
