Sergey Naryshkin: “Youth of Bashkiria plays important role in development of public society”

“It is evident for me that the youth in the Republic plays important role in solution of social-economic aims and in development of public society” – the State Duma speaker Sergey Naryshkin said at the meeting of the heads of youth councils under Bashkir municipalities.

The chairman of Russian State Duma has mentioned that young parliamentarians have first-hand knowledge of parliament and of the laws of law-making.

“We are talking one language” – Sergey Naryshkin stated.

The speaker of the lower chamber of Russian parliament has mentioned that the theme of youth parliamentarianism sounds in Russia quite often.

“I regularly hold meetings with representatives of youth organizations and see many interesting and promising projects and, as the chairman of State Duma, I am ready to support useful initiatives and to tell my colleagues about the necessity of such support, if necessary” – Sergey Naryshkin told – “Republican leadership also renders substantial assistance in work of the Youth Public Chamber.

Sergey Naryshkin indicated Eurasian integration as one of the strategic themes, which can be discussed by youth parliaments. This question is already included into agenda of one of the next meetings.

In the course of establishment of Eurasian Economic Union by 2015 the problems of unification of the normative base will be raised at higher level. “It needs thorough and attentive work of law-makers, taking the interests of the states, joining the future Union, into account” – the head of the lower chamber of Russian parliament has stated.
