President of Bashkortostan offered Ufa as a site for the structures of Eurasian parliament

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov offered Ufa as a territory for dislocation of some structures of Eurasian parliament.

“Our Republic is a classical Eurasian territory. The border, separating Europe and Asia, comes through Bashkortostan. Sure, we support establishment of Eurasian parliament. It would be possible to establish some structures of Eurasian parliament and to hold various forums and discussions here. Ufa is ready for such work, including the level of youth Eurasian parliaments” – Rustem Khamitov mentioned today at the meeting of youth councils under regional municipal and town councils, representatives of Republican ministries and agencies, youth public organizations and institutes RB.

The chairman of the Youth Public Chamber under the State Council RB Nikolai Samoilenko stands on the same positions. According to him the region accumulated wide experience of positive interaction between different national and religious groups.

“We wish this experience would be applied in establishment of Eurasian community. Along with political and economic aspects we also have cultural and social aspects, well-developed in our Republic. So we can build up the relations in Eurasian community on the example of interrelations between all nations in Bashkortostan” – Nikolai Samoilenko stated.

The speaker of Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin has taken part in the meeting as a VIP-guest.
