Ufa administration wants close cooperation with sociologists of Bashkortostan

The head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov has held a meeting with leading sociologists of Bashkortostan. Pro-rectors, heads of chairs, professors and heads of departments of Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Ufa State Oil Technical University, Bashkir State University, Bashkir State Agrarian University and other institutes have become the participants of this work meeting.
Such meetings have never been held before but Ufa mayor intends to make them traditional. The head of Ufa administration has mentioned that the mechanism for inclusion of sociological information into the sphere of the authority’s activity isn’t yet worked up at present moment and such meetings with specialists will help to correct this mistake.
“At present time specialists face the aim to turn to forecasting and to efficient advises for elaboration of the best managerial solutions. Sociologists supported this initiative of the town administration and ready for cooperation” – the head of Ufa administration’s informational-analytical agency Oscar Fazlyev said.
The head of Ufa administration’s agency for monitoring and public opinion investigation Lada Semenova has said that according to the draft program for sociological monitoring of Ufa population public opinion in 2013-2015 plenty of various investigations of public opinion on different directions of life of Ufa residents are planned.
“We intend to conduct regular polls on the problems in sphere of housing-communal services, road economy, ecology and transport and other arising problems” – she explained.
In the course of the meeting it was also proposed to establish an expert council in the city, busy with sociological problems. For example, similar public council for preservation of cultural heritage and monuments of architecture already actively works in Ufa.
