Preparation for the IV congress of Republican municipalities is going on in Bashkortostan

The first meeting of the organizing committee of the IV congress of municipal formations R B has taken place in Ufa. Problems concerning preparation for the forthcoming congress and its holding were under discussion there. The meeting was held under chairmanship of the head of the Presidential Administration RB Vladimir Balabanov, press service of “The Association of municipal formations RB” reports.

The IV congress of Bashkir municipalities will take place on December 14 in Ufa, the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK”. The staff of its organizing committee includes representatives of Presidential Administration RB, legislative and executive power bodies, local self-government bodies and public organizations.

Totals in development of local self-government in the Republic will be summed up at the congress. Further prior directions in activity of local self-government and its problems will be also under discussion.
