The staff of delegation for participation in the V World Tatar Congress is formed in Bashkiria

75 delegates and about 15 specially invited guests, including artists, painters and public activists, will present Republic of Bashkortostan at the V World Tatar Congress on December 6-12, 2012, in Kazan.

The chairman of the public organization “Tatars of Bashkortostan Ramil Bignov says the staff of the Republican delegation was approved after endorsement with all 17 public Tatar organizations RB. The list of the congress’s participants includes public activists, scientists, teachers of Tatar language, activists of science and art.

“Representatives RB will speak at the main plenary session and at round-table discussions” – Ramil Bignov reported – “The World Tatar Congress is traditionally held once in five years and problems concerning role and place of Tatar community in Russia and in the world are regularly raised there. The congress determines tendencies in Tatar national movement and the strategy of national development in the country. We also expect that Republic of Tatarstan will render assistance to Tatar national movements in different Russian regions” – the chairman explained.
