Oktyabrsky is included into the list of the most comfortable cities in Russia

According to the totals of the all-Russian competition for the rank “The most comfortable urban (rural) settlement in Russia-2011” the town of Oktyabrsky is included into the list of winners of the II category (settlements and town districts with population from 100 thousand people and more), press service of the Association “The Council of municipal formations RB” reports.

The town Oktyabrsky will be rewarded with the diploma of Russian Government and with the prize money. This place is shared by other two municipalities: the town of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar region, and the town of Almetievsk, Tatarstan. The prize fund, which is to be divided among winners, is equal to 100 million rubles.

The all-Russian contest for the rank “The most comfortable urban (rural) settlement in Russia” is held for the second time. 105 Russian municipalities have taken part in it this year.
