The President of Bashkortostan and the head of Federal Forestry Agency discussed a subject of timber turnover

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a working meeting with the head of Federal Forestry Agency Victor Maslyakov on October 17.

“We together with Rustem Khamitov discussed a subject of timber turnover,” Victor Maslyakov informed. “The name of conference which takes place in Ufa today is connected with the timber accountability. But the main and primary goal of the organised forum is to discuss issues of illegal timber turnover. It is important that these processes should be civilised in our society, the primary accountability of timber, forest resources should be legal and without dumping. For us it is important to have a possibility to monitor all stages connected with timber processing.”

Victor Maslyakov marked that today at the federal level the question of system information of the timber accountability was discussed.

“It is supposed, that servers will be established in each subject and district to accumulate all information on forest resources,” the head of Federal Forestry Agency said. “Thereupon experience of Bashkortostan where interaction between federal structures is already set is interesting to us. After all if we want to have an actually working system, procedural items are important. In the republic this system is completed at the primary stage, and we would like to share this experience with all Russian regions.
