Rustem Khamitov has talked to the head of Federal Forestry Agency

On October 17 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a work meeting with the head of the Federal Forestry Agency Viktor Maslyakov.

“We were discussing the problem of timber circulation with the President RB” – Viktor Maslyakov reported – “The name of the conference, held in Ufa today, is connected with timber stock-taking but the main goal of today’s forum is to discuss the problems with illegal timber circulation. These processes should run in civilized way in our society. The primary timber stock-taking has to be legal and no damping is admitted. It is important for us to control all stages, connected with timber processing”.

Viktor Maslyakov has mentioned that the problem of informatization of the timber stock-taking system is under discussion at the federal level today.

“It is expected that the servers, on which all data on timber should be accumulated, will be installed in every Russian region and every district and in this connection the experience of Bashkortostan is interesting for us because you keep stable interaction between federal structures. The system works well in the Republic at the primary level and we’d like to spread this experience all over Russia”.
