The IV all-Russian sociology congress to be held in Bashkiria

The second stage of the IV all-Russian sociology congress “Sociology and society: global challenges and regional development” will be held in Ufa on October 23-25. It is initiated by the Government of Bashkortostan, Russian Sociologists Society, the Institute of sociology, the Academy of Sciences RB and the Institute of social-political and legal investigations RB.

More than 500 scientists from leading Russian research centers and education institutions have already confirmed their participation. 32 representatives of foreign countries will arrive in Ufa, including scientists from India, Brazil, South Africa, Vietnam and some other CIS and foreign states. About 800 specialists expected to participate in the forum’s work in a whole.

20 round-table discussions, devoted to actual problems in development of our society, 11 scientific sessions, 33 thematic sections, two master-classes and the special session “Sociology in BRICS countries” in English language are scheduled within the frames of the congress.
