Rustem Khamitov has taken part in solemn gathering, devoted to the 100th anniversary of Tuimazy

Solemn gathering, devoted to the 100th anniversary of the settlement Tuimazy, which changed into a modern town later, has taken place in Tuimazy. The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has taken part in the celebrities. Before the holiday he has become acquainted with the exhibition of the town’s achievements, opened in the Culture House “RODINA”.

“We have a good holiday and let me congratulate all of you with this jubilee” – the President RB welcomed the comers – “One century has passed since the day when the builders of the railroad “Samara-Zlatoust” laid the railway station “Tuimazy” here. Since then the city changed. Fr om the small settlement, wh ere just 50 people lived, it changed into one of well-developed industrial, agricultural and educational centers of Bashkortostan. It became possible due to enthusiasm of several generations of citizens: people erected plants, schools, kindergartens and hospitals here”.

After the speech of welcome the President RB presented state awards to honorable citizens of Tuimazy.
