President of Bashkortostan substantiated actuality to establish a cluster of radioelectronics industry

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov told about promising innovational projects, including the plans on establishment of a cluster of radioelectronics industry, at the plenary gathering of the Republican parliament.

“This sector of Russian economics weighs 220-250 billion rubles today” – he explained – “and Russian products have just 2% in this market. 98% of radioelectronics imported fr om abroad. We have all chances to seize this share in the market but first we have to establish such cluster and work over establishment of new enterprises. We have all prerequisites for success”.

On this occasion the President RB has appealed to the chairman of Russian Government and met his support.

“Russian defense industry, Ministry of Defense and law-enforcement bodies are the main consumers of these products. I mean communication equipment and equipment for making local and global networks, wh ere American and Japanese companies completely dominate today”.

The President RB has underscored that the local network of the Presidential Administration RB and the Government RB works on Russian-made components and works without any faults but it costs ten times cheaper than a similar foreign equipment.
