Pilgrims from Bashkiria start leaving for hajj from September 17. Transportation of Muslim believers by air and land will last till October 19. Acceptance of documents in the Embassy of Saudi Arabia will be over on October 3 and pilgrims will go back within the period between October 30 and December 14.
Two tourist operators on the territory of Bashkiria are busy with sending the pilgrims off: the charitable hajj fund (from the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia) and “Ural-Hajj” (From Russian Muftis Council). More than 370 people will leave our Republic for hajj in total complexity but representatives of tourist operators say that the number of people, wishing to join the pilgrims, is much higher. The cost of one tourist voucher in 2012 varies from 100 to 144 thousand rubles.
All groups of pilgrims will be accompanied by experienced instructors and qualified medics. Every pilgrim will be supplied with an individual first-aid kit. All pilgrims are also recommended to have electronic bank cards.
Hajj is considered one of five Islamic basics. Every Muslim has to make hajj, if such opportunity exists – to go to Mecca and to perform all necessary ceremonies together with millions Muslim adherents all over the world.
